Description Steve Schoonover (best kown for his work as a reporter for the Chico Enterprise Record) and his wife spent several years searching for the sites previuously asscoiated with the Yahi Indians in Northern, California. Hiking in the mountainous terain Steve eventually began to question the location of the sites previously associated with the Yahi. In his book he offers alternate sites based on the descriptions from days gone by and his research. Steve talks about the events asscoiated with these sites and the Yahi story. It is an intersting story about researching remote historic sites from days long ago.
