Mrs. Doyle was an avid walker and traveled by foot to many of her destinations that she writes about. This is a great collection of stories about the area’s history with a map showing the location of all the places written about. It actually reads like a dictionary of Butte County history. This is a great book to introduce someone to the area’s history! 172 page paperback book.
